More than 200 drivers daily have been caught speeding everyday since the average speed cameras were activated in Birmingham and solihull on the 8th of August.

Although official twitter feed of the camera enforcement has been reminding motorists of the eight new average speed camera installations reports suggest that some drivers have not realized of the same and have apparently been caught multiple times in a single day. These people may end up losing their driving licenses.

According to the records any driver caught within 10 mph of the speed limit is more likely to get a fixed penalty notice of £100 fine and 3 points on their driving license.

Those going over this may receive court summons. The maximum for speeding is £1000.00
