The ultimate car crash survivor nicknamed â€œGrahamâ€, a sculpture designed by Melbourne based artist Patricia Piccinini with the help of a trauma surgeon Christian Kenfield from Royal Melbourne hospital and crash investigator David Logan at Monash Universityâ€™s accident research centre. The Transport Accident Commission Victoria commissioned this project to develop this interactive sculpture and was later displayed at the State Library of Victoria to raise road safe awareness. Forty per cent of all drivers in the UK have had their view obscured at junctions by overgrown foliage or vegetation, as reported by a poll of over 20,000 AA members. In the East of England, that percentage rises to nearly half (49%) of all drivers who have had problems with visibility caused by roadside vegetation.
