Yes its true Wolverhampton City council has approved a taxi License for Lamborghini Huracan , reported the Birmingham mail last week.

This £196K Lamborghini is reportedy the UK’s first supercab. Wolverhampton City council claims this to be the first Lamborghini to be issued with a taxi license. Wolverhampton City council tweeted a series of the Lamborghini images “We’ve just licensed the first super car as a private hire cab in the UK.” So a Lamborghini taxi now available to ride.

The vehicle hire firm specialweddingcars.com from Wolverhampton suggests it is a latest addition to their fleet and is aimed to the ones looking to arrive in style to a wedding or prom. It is also reported that the company special wedding cars has a Lamborgoni Gallardo, London Taxis and double Decker buses to be hired for special occasions but the taxi License to a Lamborghini means it can be used for any occasion, so need a cab to the local super market call a cab and Lamborghini is on your door.

If you thought the black cabs were expensive then you might be wrong as this bright green Lamborghini can be booked for a journey starting with a minimum charge of £349 for 90 minutes. This supercab boasts a 5-litre 602 horsepower engine with a top speed of over 200mph. From 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds this would definitely get travellers around in time and in style. A brilliant option for someone who wouldn’t like travelling in a Vauxhall Zafira or Toyota with 300000 on the clock.
